Diana

Because my parents owned a gym when I was growing up, I have more years experience in land and water fitness than I’d like to admit. From Pilates, to Step, to Aqua Aerobics, I have taught nearly every kind of fitness class there is, but water fitness is definitely my favorite. I love the water and in the summer I can be found many days water skiing, wake-boarding, or paddle-boarding on the lake. I also enjoy running with my two labs, which always ends up with them swimming in the river at the end of our run. I am currently a United States Water Fitness Association certified Master Water Fitness Instructor. Additionally, I own The Redding Arts Project, a local dance/performing arts studio, and I am the artistic director for Redding City Ballet and Redding Theatre Company. I have danced professionally, taught dance classes, choreographed and directed theatrical productions and I incorporate some of my dance background and knowledge into my fitness classes. Besides my love of fitness, I am also a wife, mother of four, grandmother, and I have a Masters Degree in English Literature, because fitness of the mind and heart are just as important as fitness of the body.
