Fitness Background:

“I’ve loved sports from a young age. Baseball, gymnastics, running, skiing, and snow boarding being my favorites. I was diagnosed in the 90’s with chronic fatigue, then Ebstein Barr, then Lupus. A hard road, but, in 2003 my lupus went into remission. I had become educated through the help of many doctors including Chinese and therapeutic and became committed to building a healthier body and lifestyle. I wanted to stay as healthy and strong as I could and help others to do the same. After further education and receiving my first certifications in 2005, I became a fitness instructor. I still have pain issues to deal with which I feel helps me to be a more well rounded instructor. In my present class at Shasta Athletic I’ve combined the class to teach aerobics, strengthening exercises, balance, and stretch. All of which I feel are essential to a healthy body. ”
