Fitness Background:

Growing up, I was a dancer, cheerleader, and gymnast, and played several group sports. I was a life guard on the beaches in Southern California, been on ski patrol, ran and walked half and full marathons, done triathlons, and practiced yoga in several different countries and all across the U.S. I began practicing yoga in a studio right out of university but it was when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 24 and nearly died because of it that I took a more active role in my health. Yoga has become more and more important to me as I’ve continued to learn, grow, and teach, seeing the benefit to myself and my students. Yoga transpires what we know and brings an awareness and life to ourselves that can be found nowhere else and it’s magnificently addicting, plus it’s fun and sculpts your body beautifully!

 

Fun Fact!

On the weekends I like to paddleboard while standing on my head.
